Access is convenient and straightforward: City bus line 1 stops at Kufstein railway station and Bezirksgericht, both just a short walk from the hotel. Guests arriving by car have access to designated hotel parking spaces on the first parking level of the Zentrum Garage (Arkadenplatz underground car park).

Whether you arrive via the motorway exits Kufstein North or Kufstein South, or via federal and regional roads, the hotel guidance system will direct you from all city entrances to the Zentrum Garage, our underground car park at Arkadenplatz.

Arrival by train
Kufstein railway station (Südtiroler Platz 3) is a German–Austrian border station with excellent national and international connections. It is regularly served by long-distance and regional trains, including Railjet, EuroCity, InterCity, Nightjet, Regional Express and Meridian services. The offer is complemented by the Tyrol S-Bahn, WESTbahn, as well as German long-distance and corridor trains.
At the station, park-and-ride facilities, lifts to all platforms, taxis, and regional and city bus services are available.
City bus Kufstein
From Kufstein railway station, city bus line 1 takes you directly to the hotel – stop Bezirksgericht.
The four city bus lines connect the entire urban area in an environmentally friendly and barrier-free manner. This allows you to reach more distant destinations such as the Kaiserlift and the Kaisertal hiking area quickly, conveniently and at low cost.
Arrival by plane
We are happy to organise your transfer from Innsbruck Airport (approx. 80 km), Salzburg Airport (approx. 100 km) or Munich Airport (approx. 130 km).
To arrange the transfer, we require your flight number, the exact arrival time, the names of all travellers and the number of passengers. Your driver will be waiting for you in the arrivals hall of the respective airport, holding a name sign.

Our hotel is located right in the heart of the city, in a central position within the pedestrian zone.

Despite its central location, you can enjoy a quiet stay without traffic noise.
Your vehicle can be conveniently parked in the Arkadenplatz underground car park (Zentrum Garage). From there, you can take the lift directly to the hotel lobby, including with luggage.
Will I be able to get around during my stay even without a vehicle?
Yes. A wide range of options is available locally. A well-developed transport network with coordinated bus and rail connections, as well as event shuttle services, ensures flexible mobility in and around Kufstein.

Where is the nearest taxi stand?
The nearest taxi stand is located at Oberer Stadtplatz, in front of the post office, just a two-minute walk from the Hotel Stadt Kufstein.
Upon request, we will be happy to arrange a taxi directly to the hotel.
Is Kufstein ideal for shopping?
Yes. From the Hotel Stadt Kufstein, almost all shops can be reached comfortably on foot. Three shopping centres – the Inntalcenter, the Kufstein Galerien and KISS – offer a wide and varied range under one roof.
The shopping experience ranges from well-known brands to regional specialities across a variety of sectors. Numerous specialist shops and boutiques make Kufstein an attractive shopping destination.
