We will be happy to inform you of the hygiene and cleanliness measures taken in our hotel. We would like to explicitly point out that we comply with and fulfill all measures imposed by the Austrian federal government. It should also be noted that we work together with Austrian full-service provider "Diversey" with regard to hygiene and comprehensive cleaning.
We take advantage of the Diversey expertise when it comes to the constantly improving selection of tried-and-true products as well as new products. From a hygiene and cleaning-related standpoint, we are always up-to-date. An environmentally-friendly array of products with a sustainability guarantee are another advantageous aspect of our collaboration with Diversey. Tidiness is not enough: in our hotel, we place utmost importance on immaculate cleanliness so that our guests feel comfortable and safe. Our trained cleaning personnel and housekeeping staff meticulously pay attention to the cleanliness of rooms, toilets, elevators, common rooms, and all other areas in between.
Often touched surfaces
are sources of risk and are responsible for the spread of disease-causing microorganisms. That's why handles (doors, closets, drawers), toilets, showers, sink handles, switches (lights, lamps), TV devices, manual thermostats, telephones (receiver, key pad), bedside tables, espresso machines, glassware, safes (handles, buttons), desks, clothes hangers, hair dryers, waste cans, suitcase stands, and sanitary facilities such as bathtubs, showers, bidets, water faucets, shower heads, towel racks, soap & shower gel dispensers, as well as elevator doors, elevator buttons, and smooth surfaces are disinfected. This also applies to our wellness oasis with fitness area.
With daily disinfection and the use of special cleaning agents, cleanliness is guaranteed.
We take care
After each use, our cleaning materials are accordingly disinfected, washed, dried, and properly stored for the next use. For quick and easy cleaning tasks, we use disposable wipes and ready-to-use, pre-moistened disinfectant materials. Mops and buckets are regularly cleaned and separately disinfected daily. They are stored in specially designated clean and dry areas. Machine cleaning: by cleaning used machines, we also fulfill hygiene standards in this area. Work tools, vacuums, and fresh water tanks thus remain spick and span.
Coronavirus - facts & prevention measures
We point out these prevention measure to guests in the hotel lobby, on the hotel floors, in the conference rooms, in the breakfast area, in the wellness & fitness oasis, as well as on your smartphone with use of our digital guest directory GASTFreund (by QR code or via the hotel app). The coronavirus is spread:
- by direct contact - human-to-human transmission
- through droplets - when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or speaks
- touch - contaminated objects or surfaces
General prevention measures
- disinfecting your hands
- frequent hand washing
- covering your mouth and nose
- avoiding close contact
We have put the time that the hotel was closed for quarantine to good use. The entire staff completed hygiene training. All curtains and drapes were washed and disinfected. Exhaust air filters were changed, and new toilet brushes were purchased. Toilet seats including lids were soaked in disinfectants. Glassware, which can be disinfected with temperatures of 60°, has replaced plastic cups.
Housekeeping currently works in single groups. Each work group is on duty only every three weeks. For stays exceeding one night, the booked room is entered by our personnel only upon the explicit request of each guest.
